This blog is pretty extensive and has a lot of information. Feel free to go as deep into it as you like. Spend a lot of time reading them. There are over eight hundred posts on this site. They are meant to be informative, some fun and and some life changing. Some deal with my travels and some deal with my faith. Please read the older posts (Dig deep as the popular Christian song implied) as well - there are a lot of them. I don't begin to think I know more than anyone else - I just think there is a lot of knowledge and good advice in these blogs. The older posts can be accessed on this page under the existing posts. Also remember it is unedited -there is probably errors in text and spelling. Look below the blog for the poetry and a Bible study. Also, feel free to email me using the home page of this site with any questions. I will respond to you. Seek God's guidance before reading these as you should in reading any Christian writings. In Christ's name, |

Pray for the missionaries
Many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are on the front lines in many countries spreading the gospel. They need prayers of protection and God's might hand to share God's Word and the saving Grace of Jesus Christ with those that are open to hear it. This is something you can do throughout the day and is well worth it. I think it makes God and Christ smile. Lovingly,
Steven Fellowship
I know that the Bible says that true fellowship is with Christ and God. We, as Christians, submit to each other and share fellowship as well. We just need to remember where our priorities are. The love we feel for our families, is a love that originated with God and Christ. They gave us the ability to love. I turn that love towards them every day. We are also called to love the world as we love ourselves and to bless our enemies. Christ never claimed that following Him would be easy. We just need to stay the course and look for God's will in everything. I love you,
Steven Turn to prayer
When things seem out of your control and you are hurting physically or spiritually, turn your heart to our Lord in prayer - prayer is one of the most powerful things the Good Lord has given us - In Christ's hands,
Steven Press On in the name of Jesus Christ
It is hard for many of us now - try not to complain - keep an open heart for the Spirit to move in you the way God would allow - and press on - Love,
Steven iTunes, Napster, etc.
The good Lord has led me to make my music more accessible - therefore I have submitted three of my albums to cdbaby.com for digital distribution on all of their partner sites. The albums are Journey of a Christian Heart, Meow Meow Baby, and Twelve. A lot of consideration went into this and a lot of prayers. There is a time for certain things, and I believe this is the time. It will probably take a month or two before they are available. In the meantime you can stream the same music on this site or download any of the songs for a small charge. Lovingly,
Steven Cycles
I thank the good Lord for all the family, people, doctors, brothers and sisters in Christ, and friends that He has put in my life. For this reason I have been given a life worth living - and living it for the Lord. Jesus is my hero and I couldn't go on without Him - My life sometimes feels like a roller coaster, but every second of it has purpose as long as I realize that I am in God's care. In Christ's hands,
Steven Charging a Small amount
In the year or so that I have had my music up for free download, quite a few people used the function. To my surprise, I really didn't get any donations. I would like to keep this site up and running until Christ's return. To be able to afford this, I am now charging a small amount for each song. As always, you can stream the entire song on this site without having to pay a dime - In Christ's hands,
Steven Forward thinking
I sometimes wonder what God thinks of long range plans. The Bible is specific to say that the given day the Lord made will have enough to fill our carnal brains. I for many reasons believe in this. I know if you are going to visit family out of state or the such, you have to make plans for the future. But I just try to stay in the day and serve in the best way I know how - lovingly,
Steven The Peace Sign
The peace sign or logo that was adopted by the 60s counter culture was a representation for nuclear disarmament - just one aspect of hope for some peace in the world. It does not represent peace in the real sense of the word. Peace will only be realized when Christ returns and establishes His earthly Kingdom in my opinion. Until then, we will continue to struggle, have wars, broken families, etc. So the next time you see the peace sign, remember the cross, because that is the real reason there will someday be peace on earth. A prisoner of Christ,
Steven Fair and Just
My dad and I just had a conversation that brought up the age old question about how God will treat the billions of people that do not claim Jesus to be savior - I know the Bible is specific on that question - I have come to the point in my relationship with Jesus and our Father in Heaven to just let other believers know that our Father will be fair, just, and perfect in everything He does - including the end times and who spends eternity with Him - I do not know - none of us know for sure - but I trust in a loving, perfect Father and His perfect son - I hope you do too - lovingly,
Steven Jesus travels with you as well
Some people feel like they will be a happier person moving to a different state or a different country - just remember that Jesus is with you no matter where you are -Lovingly,
Steven Encouragement
If you have never excepted Jesus Christ as your personal savior, I encourage you to do so now. Jesus is not a religion, He was fully God and fully man as He walked this earth. He is now in Heaven with His Father and I can promise you that He wants you to give your life to Him. It means an eternity spent with your Savior and Heavenly Father. It is the best and most important decision of your life.
Steven In Miami
Press on brothers and sisters in Christ - I think His return will be soon - I will continue to live as God and Christ direct - be patient and know that the Highest of High is covering you and loves you - In Christ's hands,
Steven My life is hard right now
Not that I want to bog you down with details, but my life is pretty hard right now - I am leaving Austin for Miami to try and work out my meds. We as a family have never seen such financial troubles. We just need to press on. My desire to have Christ come back is not to fix my problems. It is because I truly want to see this world the way God intended it to be, and we can't do it as a human race - we have tried for centuries, with a lot of set backs and failures. Christ, please return,
Steven The Healing Power of Music
I sometimes wonder why there is so much hatred in so much music that is produced today. I also wonder why so much popular music sounds the same. I really see the purpose of music as a healing tool. That music should speak to the soul in such a way that it brings joy or peace to the listener. Maybe some people are so angry, that aggressive music helps get some of their frustration out. But I see it as a way to fuel more anger. I am not saying that my music is the answer for someone's healing, I think there is a lot of good music out there. I just try to keep it simple and try to send out waves of healing energy. I think those waves are of God and from God and His risen Son. I hope that you find a bit of peace while listening to my tracks. In the end, it's all God's anyway. May the Lord bless you abundantly,
Steven Am I an angry person?
Well, will I fly a plane into a IRS building - no! Will I take someone's life including my own - no? Do I drive safely and not honk my horn at everyone that does something I don't like - no! Do I care what happens to good people and bad people - yes! I just want people to take a good look at themselves and realize that we are not our own - that God created us and that He loves us dearly - He loves us enough to allow His One and Only Son to die a pretty terrific death for us - would you do that for anyone you love? My faith has become clearer since I've had a son of my own - I can't imagine what God felt, but I can imagine what I would feel like if my son were on that cross - not that it's the same, but I have a really small understanding of what our Creator went through - how incredibly hard it must of been - the Creator of everything we now, see, and feel - to have His Child die for our sins - and then most of this world turns the other cheek and says that's your "religion" - that's your problem - that's your reality - well wake up world - it's the truth - it happened - and I truly hope you gain some of the faith that my Father in Heaven has given me - I wouldn't trade my Faith for anything - some days it's all that I have - and I want you to have it to - God speed brothers and sisters,
Steven Work
When was it in history that someone was judged on their 9 to 5 job. When was it that we decided human worth was based on their manual outcome. When was it that we felt inferior to someone that made 6 figures. When was it that Wall Street was more important than the homeless man trying to make a living. When was it that we thought some high executive had more intrinsic value than the Malaysian boy sifting through garbage to make a living made sense. Where the heck are we? Where are our priorities? I am not the pope, or Jesus, or God, but our world is turned upside down. People care more for their fast race car than providing food for a starving boy in Africa. I don't have a lot of resources, but if I did, I would be doing more than blogging on this site. Enough said,
Steven I Imagine
I imagine a world free of destruction, hate, and war. I imagine a world were neighbors hug instead of hate. I imagine a world dedicated to helping instead of hurting. I imagine a world full of beauty and respect for man and animal. I imagine a world without disease or without heartache. I imagine a world that helps not hurts. I imagine a world without poverty and one where everyone has a shelter to call home. I imagine Christ coming back and reforming what we humans have really messed up. In Christ's hands,
Steven You and I are similar
Not in our personalities that were given to us by God himself - not in our backgrounds or life experiences - but in our will to live and make some kind of difference - the difference could be small or large - I don't think God judges us on our merits - He judges us on our hearts - were we were coming from while we did something - for me, thank God I have a redeemer in Christ that has paid the ultimate price for all my sins and mistakes - I hope you make that same choice as well,
Steven Happiness
Are you really happy? Can this life bring brilliant joy to your life? Following Christ and His commands is not an easy task. It was not meant for the weak or fainthearted. Eternal, incredible joy is promised in our next life, why do we spend so much time seeking it here - the next party, the next vacation, ball game, etc. - pure joy will be in Heaven - in a Heaven ruled by our Creator and His Son - don't think for one instance that your "happiness" here has any bearing on the real "happiness" we will be filled with in Heaven - that's why if you haven't given your life to Christ, now is the time.
Steven Names
Do you understand that you will get a new name in Heaven? Your personal name, street names, city names, state names, country names, etc. are of this earth. Not of Heaven - people decided these names, not God or Christ - keep that in mind as you travel the road that God sets before you. In Christ's Hands,
Steven Please Remember
A lot of what is of this world is what God intended - it is the enemy that is trying to tear you down - just because someone approaches you with what you think is good intent, you probably shouldn't trust them with a blind trust - the enemy is working everywhere and is trying to undermine our Father and His risen Son's intent on spreading the gospel through His chosen - be careful, be alert, look for the signs, and pray - praying is one of the most important things you can be doing now - and not for small stuff but for lost souls and this world,
Steven Do we need to share everything with everybody?
To a large degree I am an open book - this site is about me, my struggles, and my view of the world - I know that each individual sees the world in a different way - that's the awesomeness of our Creator - we each have distinct personalities - we cross paths, we marry, we have children, friend, churches, etc. But it is my firm belief that we don't need to share everything with everyone - I have been an honest, contributing Christian for a long time - I know that God and Christ love me and that His Holy Spirit will never leave me - I am the first to admit I jump feet first into almost everything I do - this world has become so complicated that this probably is not the best thing - search God and His Word for answers - surround yourself with strong Christian men and woman - submit to those who God would have you submit to - He is the decider, Christ is the answer - Love Him with all your heart and soul and you will have a place in eternity which will be an awesome place - love always,
Steven A Trusting Spirit
It seems to me that trust is earned, not granted - I know that Grace is not earned and God and Christ should always be trusted - but trusting blindly without some knowledge of a worldly person can point you in the wrong direction - spending time with that person and getting to know them is essential to trust - I love you Lord,
Steven God's Ever Present Will
May God's ever present will through Jesus Christ our Lord radiate throughout this world. May every man, woman, and child feel His perfect Grace through Christ. I want this for you all. A prisoner of the Lord,
Steven |
