Thank God from where all blessings flow. You have arrived at Steven Wright Clarkson's home page. If you are interested in learning more of what I'm about, check out my blog or testimony. Steven is a Christian artist and author who records, produces, and writes devotional music for relaxation and reflection. Be patient with the download speeds as it takes a little time for each song to start streaming. There is a 30 second preview of each song for purchase. I will offer free song downloads from time to time so keep checking back.
The second track recorded with the DG1 Eastman mandolin will be offered for free download until the end of August - it's called "Logan Pass" and is in the Montana section. You can also stream the complete track. I'm am also offering the song "The love of Christ" for free download for the next week. It is also in the Montana section. For a short time, I will also be offering "Let's say our prayers" in the instrumental section as a free download.
10 Percent of all internet donations/sales on this site and sales on other sites will be given to Christian based organizations. I especially like the work that the Bible League is doing.
I have posted some pictures of Glacier National Park on the Montana section of this site.
Steven's main instrument is the mandolin which he has been playing since 1996. Steven hopes that your time here is filled with peace and joy. Much of Steven's music uses the classical Indian instruments of the tabla and tanpura. Steven's hope is that by using these instruments, the good Lord can bridge cultural boundaries.
Steven has posted his short book about his life as a bi-polar Christian, "A Dangerous Life", in pdf format on this site. It's more a testimonial than anything else. It talks about Steven's walk as a Christian and some of the things Steven has been through. Steven hopes it blesses you abundantly.
Steven also has a blog covering Christian topics and a section of poetry and a Bible study under the same heading. This is a continuing work in progress. The blog is extensive so Steven suggests you dig deep when looking at it. It's not for everyone but probably has a few things you may find interesting. If you like the music or the writings, please donate to our ministry. In these times and all times your monetary blessings help a lot. Thanks.
